In a captivating collaboration with Japan’s largest dinosaur exhibit, the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, the eagerly anticipated “ODAIBA DINOSAUR EXPO 2024″ will be unveiled at the Fuji TV Headquarters starting on Wed. March 20, 2024.
Captivating audiences from children to adults, dinosaurs have an enchanting appeal for many. This exhibition not only introduces well-known dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops, but also showcases diverse forms discovered and excavated in Fukui. Additionally, it provides insights into the forefront of dinosaur research through the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum’s ongoing studies, offering attendees a unique opportunity to delve into the cutting edge of dinosaur exploration.

This extraordinary exhibition with the support of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, features an impressive assembly of 20 full-body skeletal specimens, including Triceratops and Acrocanthosaurus. Highlighting the exhibition are the first-ever public display in Japan of the Spinosaurus fossil specimen and others excavated in Fukui, contributing to an anticipated total of approximately 70 specimens. Visitors can experience the awe-inspiring presence of the life-size 15 meters robotic replica of the Spinosaurus unveiled for the first time in the world, as well as the Tyrannosaurus.
Comedian, Yasuko will be taking on the role of Official Supporter to liven up this event.

Dinosaurs, captivating people of all ages from children to adults, are set to dominate Odaiba and Fuji TV. The various sizes and shapes, not seen in the modern world, are the result of diversity. This allowed dinosaurs to survive on Earth for over 100 million years, evolving into species such as birds that exist today.
The exhibition will showcase a diverse array of species, ranging from the well-known Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops to Fukui’s unique dinosaurs. Through the varied forms of these dinosaurs, visitors will unravel the mysteries behind the success of these ancient creatures. The lifelike giant dinosaur robots will transport you back to the time when these creatures roamed the Earth. Immerse yourself in the world of dinosaurs at Odaiba and Fuji TV.

Experience! Dinosaur Excavation

Take a swing at stones brought from an actual excavation site in Thailand, attempting to unearth dinosaur fossils. If you discover a fossil, seize the opportunity to receive detailed explanations from researchers at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum.
