Fuji Television, along with Japan’s public and commercial broadcasters (Japanese media companies in the SDG Media Compact), are participating in the world’s first country-level joint campaign with the United Nations, “Promise of 1.5 ºC. Act now to stop global warming.”
During the campaign’s main period from September 19 to November 18, various TV stations will release videos on climate change. Announcers and characters are making an appearance too. Popular character ‘Gachapin’ from Fuji Television is also participating.
We hope this will inspire you to think together about what we can do now to achieve “Promise of 1.5°C” and to realize a decarbonized society. Let’s act now.
