Long-Thibaud International Competition

The Long-Thibaud International Competition was established in Paris by the pianist Marguerite Long and the violinist Jacques Thibaud, renowned French musicians who both aimed to promote talents, transmit the love of music to young people, and contribute to their international reputation.

Fuji Television agreed with the mission of Long-Thibaud and has been helping the competition in Paris since 1986 as part of its cultural and artistic support activities. Since 1990 we have held gala concerts in Japan for artists with a huge potential for the future, to succeed within the world’s professional music industry.
