Poison Berry in My Brain

Introduction

Setona Mizushiro's popular comic ‘Poison Berry in My Brain,’ which gained popularity with its 2015 film, and then the 2020 stage version, comes back this summer with a new look!

Yuika Motokariya plays Ichiko Sakurai, a character torn between two men. The role of ‘Yoshida,’ the chairman of the meeting in her brain, will be played by Yusei Yagi (FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE). Do look forward to it!

Story

One day, Ichiko runs into Saotome, a younger man she had been interested in ever since they met at a drinking party. While Ichiko being thrilled by the ‘fortunate reunion,’ a brain meeting among five members led by chairman Yoshida unfolds. After many twists and turns, Ichiko manages to get together with him. At the same time, Ochi, Saotome's senior at a major publishing company, approaches Ichiko about turning her serialized online novel into a book. While talking to Ochi about the relationship with Saotome which doesn’t seem to be going well, Ochi becomes aware of Ichiko as a potential marriage partner and proposes to her...

The events that happen every day makes your brain go into overdrive! Yoshida struggles to organize the complicated meeting. Will the members of Ichiko and the brain meeting team be able to choose the path of happiness?
