DINOSAUR DREAMS: Imagination and Creation of the Lost World

Introduction

Welcome to the world of Paleoart.

Dinosaur exhibitions are often dominated by the likes of fossils, but this unique one focuses on the world of “Paleoart” themed on dinosaurs and other ancient creatures.
It showcases fine art from the bizarre reconstructions of the early days of dinosaur paintings in the 19th century, to monumental works by the two great masters of this genre in the 20th century, Charles R. Knight and Zdeněk Burian, as well as from subcultures such as comic books and toys. In addition, about 150 rare works from around the world, including Paleoart based on recent research by the standard-bearers of contemporary dinosaur paintings will also be on display.

Let’s trace the history of the images people once had of dinosaurs and other ancient creatures. Enjoy an imaginative journey into a lost world that extends for infinitely within.
