The team behind the “silent” phenomenon (aired October 2022 season) reunites for a completely original story focusing on the theme of “parental love.” The series delicately depicts important aspects in this day and age, the love that emerges between people, as well as the story of a family.
Following a protagonist played by Meguro, who once enjoyed happy days with a classmate with whom they started dating during university. As they were preparing for job hunting, his partner suddenly breaks up with him going their separate ways...
Seven years later during a summer when they were living a new life, he receives sudden news of the death of his former love, through his university colleague. Since they had not seen each other after the breakup, he’s unable to grasp this reality, as he heads to the funeral. It's here that he encounters a young girl...
Learning that this girl is his former girlfriend’s child, leaves him in bewilderment.
What’s more...he finds out from the girl’s mother that he’s the father...
