Story
Kento is a policeman, who had learned the art of criminal profiling on his own. After many painful and heartbreaking past memories such as the murder incident of a young girl who he was related to during his childhood years, and his brother's suicide, he has completely lost his trust on the police. With his calm decision making ability, detailed observation skills and his expert knowledge on criminal profiling, he embarks on a new challenge as he tries to uncover the truth which lies behind his brother's death. After secretly witnessing the female murderer who had kidnapped his childhood friend 15 years ago, Kento contacted the police about this, however his infomation had continuously been mistreated and uncared for by the police. The case itself remains unresolved as it nears the end of its period of investigation.
One day, he hears a voice from a reciever which had been disposed. The voice turns out to be of another detective who had also been investigating the same incident as him. After the help of the detective, Kento goes to a location, where he finds a skeletonized body. As Kento continues talking to the detective over the reciever, he eventually realizes that the detective is someone who is living in the past.

Kento witnesses a suspicious woman, that may have been linked to the murder of a little girl. Despite all the trepidations involving the murder case, which is almost reaching its investigation limit, Kento makes an all out effort to find the killer.

After various thoughts which flashes through Kento’s (Kentaro Sakaguchi) mind, regarding the person at the other end of his receiver, he gradually begins to realize that he had been talking to someone from 1997. As he had expected, the detective at the end of the receiver is one who is in the middle of his investigation for the murder case of the young child.

The criminal investigation team for unsolved incidents, has re-opened their case, on the serial murder incident which had consecutively occurred in the year 1997. Meanwhile, Kento (Kentaro Sakaguchi) realizes that the receiver which he coincidentally managed to get hold of 8 years ago, is connected to the year 1997. He uses this to his advantage, as he tries to pass on valuable information regarding the future, to the detective at the other end of the receiver, in order to prevent murders before they happen.

After a joint investigation with the detective at the other end of the receiver, Kento (Kentaro Sakaguchi) now makes a determined effort to search for the detective living in current times. Meanwhile, he eventually discovers that the detective had gone missing 18 years ago, and also had been dismissed due to a bribery incident.

In the year 1998, a consecutive series of robberies take place at a luxurious housing facility. Despite knowing the dangers involved in influencing the natural flow of the past, Kento (Kentaro Sakaguchi) tries to pass on valuable information regarding the case, over to the detective at the other end of the receiver, who is having a troublesome time in his investigation on the case. Meanwhile, all the information regarding the case disappears out of the blue the next day. The unsolved incident which has remained a mystery for 20 years, is about to reach its investigation limit.

The criminal responsible for the consecutive series of robberies in the year 1998 is released from jail. However, he immediately kidnaps a university student the moment this happens. It turns out, that the convict has some kind of a grudge, against the student’s father. According to detective Ooyama, he states that the moment after the robber was escorted to the police station, his daughter was involved in an explosive accident on a bus. His daughter wouldn’t have lost her life, had it not been for the father’s misleading direction during the terrible moment.

Detective Oyama finds vital evidence of bribery by a member of the House of Representatives, from items seized for the consecutive series robberies. However, his progress for this is halted which sends him into a strong feeling of rage. Meanwhile, Kento (Kentaro Sakaguchi) who now knows the full account of the robberies become disgusted with the ludicrous world. However, taking on Oyama’s advice about staying put under strict authority, makes the relationship between themselves even stronger.

After acquiring vital information from Kazuo Iwata before his death, Kento (Kentaro Sakaguchi) discovers detective Oyama’s body with Misaki. While being next to a shocked and saddened Misaki, Kento discovers a business card from one of Oyama’s possessions. The card is from a yakitori restaurant, where he used to eat-out at after his brother Ryota was arrested.

In order to unravel the mysteries surrounding Oyama’s death, Kento (Kentaro Sakaguchi) and Misaki goes to visit Nana, a victim of the mob violence incident. When she finds out that Kento is the brother of Ryota, who was arrested as the main criminal for the incident, she begins to speak up about the truth regarding the incident which had occurred 19 year ago. Meanwhile, Kento begins to get furious with emotions, and states that there is no way that Ryota would commit suicide based on a letter which Kento had received from him.
