Introduction

Takeshiro Shikota is a 27-year-old pediatrician born and raised in Hokkaido.
His father passed away when he was very young, and lives with his mother, Minami, who raised him single-handedly. As a kind young man and a good cook, he handles all household chores with ease, but he sometimes shows his clumsiness in important situations. He became a pediatrician because he was willing to work in any department, if it was a hospital that was accessible from his home. Very much a stability-oriented character.

One day, he is transferred to the newly established PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) at the hospital where he works, and meets the physician Hajime Ueno...
