Groundbreaking interactive event “ReC: Werewolf Amusement Park” held by Fuji Television Network, Inc. during December 2023 to April 2024 has been awarded with a Bronze Stevie® at the 11th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards, part of the Stevie® Awards often acknowledged as the “Oscars of the business world.”
At an awards gala held in Manila, the Philippines on Friday, May 24, Fuji Television’s Producer, Marin Sakaue expressed her joy and commented, “This project, which originated from a TV show, requires just your smartphone to join and play. Moving forward, we hope to work in collaboration with developers and large-scale commercial facilities across Asia and around the world” highlighting new business opportunities.
In the “Innovation in Entertainment Events” category, this interactive event which was created in collaboration with Tokyo Dome City Attractions received high praise. It marks a remarkable achievement for Fuji Television making it a win for 3 consecutive years in the Events category.
“ReC: Werewolf Amusement Park” is a new, interactive game that evolved from the original variety show which aired on Fuji Television last December. Participants have the mission of destroying the hidden Zombie virus facility within the amusement park. In a team, players must work together to clear various tasks. However, there are traitors among the members that may attempt to sabotage the mission. While keeping an eye out for suspicious members, teams must unite and accomplish the mission at hand. This intense interactive event based on “mutual suspicion” and “deception” has become popular at Tokyo Dome City Attractions.
Marin Sakaue, Producer, Programming and Production Department, Fuji Television Network, Inc. comments, “The goal of this event was to double the fun of a facility without making any changes to the place itself. Overcoming the hurdles that come with trying something new, the team’s efforts have borne fruit, and I am truly delighted. I am grateful for the recognition of the innovation in taking on this new challenge. Moving forward, we aim to work in collaboration with developers and large-scale commercial facilities across Asia and around the world.”
