BROADWAY MUSICAL Kinky Boots returns this Autumn 2022 for the third time!　

After a much-appreciated 2019 revival, we were moving toward a third show. But we had to come to terms with losing a significant figure, to the point of even considering abandoning the show.

However, along with the memories of Haruma Miura, who had been the driving force behind the stage in Japan, and the love he had dedicated to the production, we have decided not to stop our efforts to revive the show in 2022, with the strong belief that ‘Japan needs Kinky Boots.’

For the role of Lola, Yu Shirota joined the audition this time round, and the Broadway team we have been working with watched his audition movie and immediately contacted us to let us go forward with him.

To all of you who already love this musical, and those still yet to experience the production in the future. This is a work that all the production team for Kinky Boots in Japan deeply treasure.

Japanese cast, including Teppei Koike, who has led the production since its premiere, and the new cast members including Yu Shirota, together with the Japan-U.S. creative team, will deliver this production with all our hearts.
