Story

One year after the series of revenge tragedy caused by Yugo.
The new truth emerges from the two cases which arise around Keigo. The sequel leading to a shocking end starts now!

It was thought that the series of revenge tragedy caused by Yugo Katsuragi (Taisuke Fujigaya) had ended-.

One year later, Jinnai (Kazuki Iio(Zun)) who was arrested during the big-rigging incident for mediating bribery from a major contruction company, is killed after being released from custody.

Keigo Katsuragi (Fujigaya/Double Role), a detective in the investigation division of the TMPD, meets the detective of jurisdiction, Kosaku Minagawa (Katsunori Takahashi) after a long time, during the investigation in the club which was the scene of murder. Minagawa attends kindly as he used to, however Keigo’s mind was troubled, knowing now he was his real father.

In this situation, an incident occurs where the grandson of Shotaro Kobayakawa (Ikko Furuya) of the Somin Party and member of the House of Representatives, is kidnapped. The kidnapper demands Keigo to bring the same amount of ransom by the same way and place where Yugo was kidnapped. Keigo is confident that this is the copycat of the incident from 21 years ago.

Keigo carries the ransom as demanded by the kidnapper, however an unexpected person was waiting at the destination.

The shocking truth, told about the death of Keigo and Yugo’s father Eiichi (Kenta Satoi)-
At the same time, a man wearing a hood was taking care of Kobayakawa’s grandson in a cottage. Who is this man…?

What is the connection that eventually comes to light between the death of Jinnai and the new kidnapping incident? There was a certain truth hidden behind it.

Meanwhile, Eri Yoshizaki (Kana Kurashina) was given information by Keigo about her real mother. She visits the ryokan from the source of information given by Keigo, to find out that the okami Kotono Asuma (Yoshiko Miyazaki) was the actual sister of Eri’s real mother. Eri is told by Kotono the sad past of her mother…

Finally the fateful reunion arrives, and the the sequel leading to a shocking climax starts!
