The new Tuesday drama series Goodbye Noir, starring Eiko Koike!
The series is a police drama centered on a former detective and a psychologist assigned to the newly established unit for victim support at the fictional Nishi-Ikebukuro Police Station in Tokyo. Together, they support crime victims and bereaved families so they can begin moving forward with their lives again!
In the story, Koike plays the protagonist Natsumi Kuroki, a former detective from the organized crime division, while Kita portrays a psychologist Eriko Shiraishi who possesses extensive expertise but struggles with interpersonal communication.
Although the duo have appeared in same productions before, this marks their first full-fledged collaboration, as they form a partnership that supports crime victims through contrasting approaches while making up for what the other lacks!
