Today, September 1st marks Disaster Prevention Day in Japan. To commemorate this day and to engrave in our hearts the historical moment in which an unprecedented great natural disaster occurred, a website dedicated to heightening the conscience of future generations about disaster mitigation will be launched. Fuji TV, in collaboration with FNN presents an archive of videos from the Great East Japan Earthquake, available to anyone and everyone in the world to see via Internet. Videos are original cut versions of recorded material from March 11th, 2011 and include unreleased scenes and footage from the tragic disaster that stole close to 20,000 lives. Initially, the archive will contain a total of 30 videos, and additional videos will be uploaded sequentially.
