Tokyo, Japan–Fuji Television held “Press Conference for FOD (=Fuji TV on Demand) New Contents 2017” and announced our new additional lineups of original contents including 3 variety shows and a drama, and also Becky’s assignment as the host of the new series “Ainori-REBOOT” (tentative).
Further in the event, Senior Executive Director for Content Creation and Distribution Dept., Makoto Yamaguchi highlighted the strategy and target for 2017 regarding to our video on demand service. “As the time has changed regarding to internet video distribution services in which are to be “selected”, we strive to stay original and differentiate from other companies improving UVOT (Ultimate Unique Ultra Video On Demand), our unique platform consists of multiple video on demand services- SVOD, TVOD, and ADVOD- to expand the number of users in diverse generations, and thrive in the “selecting times” in order to contribute to maximization of the value of 4M (terrestrial broadcasting, communication satellite broadcasting, broadcasting satellite and internet.)” he emphasized.
Zhang Yi Xing, starring in the Chinese remake of “Operation Love”, took the stage remarking the drama is a real fascinating piece.
That romance comedy was initially broadcasted in 2007 in Japan starring Tomohisa Yamashita and Masami Nagasawa, and has been remade to its Chinese version recently.

(the 3rd J Soul Brothers), Keita Machida (Gekidan EXILE) and Masayasu Yagi (Gekidan EXILE) took the stage. Becky also participated in the event, and was announced as the host of “Ainori REBOOT” (tentative), the jointly produced variety show of FOD and Netflix.
