Tokyo, Japan–Fuji Television (=Fuji TV) is proud to announce the completion of OPERATION LOVE, our second production of strategic partnership agreement with Shanghai Media Group Pictures (=SMG) to co-develop remake of five Fuji TV drama titles. OPERATION LOVE is jointly commissioned by Fuji TV and SMG. Filming started November last year in Shanghai and wrapped in February at Guangzhou. The finished title has 32 episodes, all 45 minutes each, and will be broadcasted on SMG’s Dragon Television and Internet distribution through Tencent, both starting on April 24th.
OPERATION LOVE is a light-hearted love story series originally produced by Fuji TV and broadcasted in Japan through April-June 2007 in its popular Monday night prime time drama slot. The Chinese version to be released later this month features Zhang Yixing (THE MISTIC NINE/iQIYI, HAPPY CAMP/Hunan TV) and Chen Duling (THE LEFT YEAR/movie). A Korean remake, OPERATION PROPOSAL, was broadcasted on TV Chosun in 2012 with Seung Ho Yoo (REMEMBER/SBS, IMAGINARY CAT/MBC) and Eun Bin Park (FATHER, I’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU/MBC, AGE OF YOUTH/JTBC).

Comment from lead actor, Zhang Yixing, as follows:
“I am truly excited of the release of OPERATION LOVE in China on 4/24. I hope you’ll allenjoy!“

Fuji TV and SMG’s third out of five co-production title is currently in preparation for broadcast this fall.
