Fuji Television Network, Inc. and Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd. announced our intention to enter into a strategic alliance to share the technology of cloud, AI in order to provide new viewer experiences to the public.
For our first collaboration, they have developed an original service combining their video distribution system and AI technology where Microsoft Azure, the Cloud Platform of Microsoft is used as the foundation of DREAM FACTORY.

DREAM FACTORY (Dori-faku) is launched as the latest video hosting service in January 2017, in order to provide creative users who will bear the next generation with opportunities to express themselves. With its unique format, videos of various genres posted by artists, performers and creators are ranked on real time by other users.
This innovative service offers not only end users, but also all enterprises and media opportunities to take a direct part in globalization in regard to video contents.

Microsoft Japan has agreed with the multiple purposes of Dori-faku run by Fuji Television, and aims to back up artists and creators in Japan to achieve their further objectives over the collaboration in cloud, AI technology. They will start an automatic subtitling service sequentially from July 2017 on Dori-faku, not only converting audio to text automatically but also translating simultaneously from up to nine languages including English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic and Japanese.
