Eiko Katsukawa of Fuji Television’s Public Relations Department, is awarded the ‘L’Ordre National du Mérite Chevalier’ of France.

On May 26th, Chief General Producer, Eiko Katsukawa, of Fuji Television’s Public Relations Department has been awarded the ‘L’Ordre National du Mérite Chevalier,’ at the French Ambassador’s residence, conferment ceremony by Minister Counsellor Paul-Bertrand Barets.

From the experiences of living in France from a young age, Eiko Katsukawa is contributing a lot to Fuji Television through her highly proficient language ability, as a reporter and also as a chief manager of Fuji Television’s Paris Bureau. She has been working towards increasing the understanding of France, through areas such as the government, economy and culture with her reports. Furthermore, she has worked on making documentary programs about France.

Also, as an ‘International Tourism Advisor’ for France, she has contributed in many areas, as an intermediary role, binding together Japan and France. She has deepened the relationship of the French people with Japan. She has been awarded for all these fantastic achievements.
