Hachiko: A Dog’s Story, now in theaters

The motion picture, “Hachiko: A Dog’s Story”, starring Richard Gere, is now in theaters. The film is based on a true story about a loyal dog named Hachiko, who goes to the train station every morning to see his master off. In the afternoon, Hachiko returns to the station alone to greet his master. Even after his master passes away, Hachiko continues to go to the station to look for his master… for nine years. From the Imperial Family, Princess Aiko, the Crown Prince and Princess visited a theater to watch the film. This was 7-year old Princess Aiko’s first experience to watch a movie at a theater. Being a dog-loving family themselves, it is said that they enjoyed watching the film.
