Fuji Television Network, Inc. has joined hands with American film production company Illumination Entertainment (“Despicable Me,” “The Lorax” ) under a strategic alliance in aims of developing each other’s creative abilities to produce superior content. The very first of its collaborations will premiere at the release of “BAYSIDE SHAKEDOWN 4 THE FINAL,” where a minion from the movie, “Despicable Me” will appear in the opening logo. Collaborations in the future include exchange of ideas and opinions by creators regarding screenplay and character setting for Illumination’s upcoming “Despicable Me 2” release in July 2013, as well as a prospected joint production project.
