Fuji Television and Fox International will be remaking “Sideways,” the American comedy-drama feature film directed by Alexander Payne. The film won Best Adapted Screenplay at the 77th Academy Awards. The shooting took place in California’s Napa Valley, home to America’s finest wine. “Sideways” is about the road trip of two men and their encounter with two women and wine. It stars Fumiyo Kohinata, Katsuhisa Namase, Kyoka Suzuki, and Rinko Kikuchi, known for her role in “Babel.” The film is scheduled to be released this fall.
