Fuji Television happily accepted the Asia Best Partner Award from iQIYI, China’s leading internet contents distributor, presented at the iQIYI Awards Ceremony in Beijing. Fuji TV was the first Japanese station to distribute dramas through iQIYI, a total of twenty hit titles were available to China’s online audience this year. Active involvement and expansion with the Chinese distribution market was recognized by all at iQIYI. Of the twenty titles distributed, HIRUGAO-LOVE AFFAIRS IN THE AFTERNOON toppled the rest with a walloping 10 million plus views in its last episode alone. MYSTERIOUS SUMMER, co-produced with iQIYI, also received raving reviews with 60 million plus views since its distribution in August.
