“Eden of the East” has been selected as The Best Anime Series of the Year 2010 by America’s largest anime industry news website, Anime News Network. “Eden of the East” is a TV anime drama series which premiered on Fuji Television in 2009. It is a story about a boy Takizawa who has lost his memory and a girl Saki who supports him. Takizawa meets Saki in Washington DC appearing naked and only carrying a handgun and a cell phone. When they return to Japan, they learn that a missile had hit the country and that Takizawa is one of the twelve selected people to save Japan.
