“Dear Mom” wins Bronze World Medal at NY Festivals

It is our great pleasure to announce that Fuji Television’s “Dear Mom -The Story of Five Siblings-” produced by weekday morning show “Tokudane” (Broadcast April 2012) has received the Bronze World Medal in the 2013 New York Festivals for the “Current Affairs” category. “Dear Mom” depicts a family of 5 children in mourning having lost their mother in the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake who, together with the help of the father, try to move forward, growing up through the process and without forgetting to keep a smile on their faces.

The New York Festivals was founded in 1957, and has since been recognizing the World’s best work in advertising and TV, Film&Radio programs in which World-class judges review submissions in the most current and relevant categories to award creativity across all media. This year, over 50 countries submitted entries, exceeding the average 40 countries in the past to have their work reviewed and considered for a prize.
