The highly-anticipated film, AMALFI, a Fuji Television 50th anniversary commemorative feature film, has been released on 357 screens across Japan. It’s the first Japanese live-action film ever to be shot entirely in Italy. The film was invited to The Isola del Cinema Film Festival in Rome, Italy. Co-stars Yuji Oda and Yuki Amami were there to witness an audience of over 600 who gave them a standing ovation when the film ended. One major highlight of the film is Sarah Brightman, who made her Japanese movie debut portraying herself and performing the world-famous tune, “Time to Say Goodbye”.
