Check out her comments before she went into production!

On receiving the offer and starring in your first "Getsu 9" (Monday 9 PM) drama?

I’ve worked with the producer before, so I’m heading into filming with a real sense of security and trust. I’ve been a total drama fan since I was a little girl and grew up watching the slot, so when I got the offer, I was both thrilled and shocked—I couldn’t believe I’d be the lead in one! It’s also an honor to take on such a challenging role as a neurosurgeon. We’ve only just started filming, but I’m already buzzing with excitement. I can’t wait to see how the final product turns out!

On playing a neurosurgeon as the protagonist?

To become a doctor through sheer determination after a tragic event is incredible. It’s not an easy profession to enter, and even after you qualify, the level of knowledge and skill required is immense. I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult that journey is, but I find her life story—achieving her dreams through pure grit—to be so inspiring.

On your first impressions of the script?

Right from the first episode, my character’s 'ex-delinquent' roots are on full display, which makes it a lot of fun. At the same time, as a medical drama, it handles delicate topics and modern social issues with the seriousness they deserve. The script beautifully depicts her past and the core themes of the drama, so I think the audience will really connect with that. Plus, there are so many eccentric characters besides her! The fast-paced banter and chemistry between the characters is definitely something to watch out for.

A message for the viewers?

I’d love for people to watch this with their families as a way to kick off the week on Monday nights from 9 PM. This show is a thrilling medical entertainment, so you’ll see her fighting for her patients' lives, her rough-around-the-edges attitude and way of speaking, and some truly cool moments. It’s going to be a real emotional rollercoaster with plenty of laughs and tears. Please look forward to it!
