Introduction
“TORIKO” animation is based on the successful comic by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro.
TORIKO is a gourmet adventure filled with mouth-watering food, action, friendship and wild monsters. TORIKO also teaches kids to appreciate foods. TORIKO the animated series is now available on Hulu.com. Since April 2011 it has gained great popularity and its first feature film will be released in summer 2013.
Story
The world is in the Gourmet Age!
An age in which people seek out unknown culinary delights! The world is full of undiscovered ingredients, and people are enticed by the many exquisite tastes. In the setting of the Gourmet Age, the Gourmet Hunter Toriko travels the world, going on adventures to capture wild ingredients, taking the chef Komatsu along with him. They set on an adventure, putting their lives on the line, in order to complete Toriko’s “Full Course Menu of Life”!
